Why does sound X sound the way it does?
And what's the difference between sound X and sound Y? One of the great benefits of digital audio is the array of software available to graphically represent sound. If you're working on a mix and have a particular issue which you can't quite identify or if you're attempting to repair a track, it may help to analyse the sound visually.
